Sweet Milo

We have a book about a duck who likes to dance. One day her baby brother takes her tutu and she rips it out of his hands, and then he cries. There is a picture of the baby duck crying.

Milo kept looking at the picture and then he said "He's sad. What's he worried about?" I told him, "I don't know, what do you think he's worried about?" Milo said, "He's worried about the owl."

Milo will often say that he hears and owl and is scared, or sometimes he'll wake up and say he had a bad dream about an owl. Sometimes he reassures himself that he is inside, so the owl won't get him. We do get owls around here so it wouldn't surprise me that he hears them and gets scared by that. I guess he's working it out with the duck book. Milo's such a sweet little guy.
