One More Thing

The kids can recognize four words now: "Milo, Nora, Hi, and Cat". Their names are no-brainers but I've only done "hi" and "cat" a couple of times, a long long time ago. Like, months ago. Then today the kids found the magna-doodle and wanted me to draw all kinds of letters and eventually I started writing words. I tried "Hi" and immediately Milo knew what it was. Same for Nora and "Cat". I couldn't believe it. It really goes to show you that kids at this age have an amazing, unbelievable capacity for learning. It clearly is so, so superior to what we as adults are capable of. Today I introduced the word "Dog". We'll see if they remember it next time (I bet they will).
