Study

A new study out says that boys born through IVF with ICSI (as Milo was) may face infertility problems. I was thus-far unaware of the connection between male infertility and length of ring fingers. Haven't yet checked the length of Milo's ring finger...

Edited to add: I checked Jake's fingers and he has a ring finger shorter than his index finger (unusual in males, reflecting a female pattern). In addition to infertility, it turns out that this finger ratio issue is connected to a whole host of things, all as a result of the amount of testosterone a fetus gets during development. For instance, there is even a link to finger length ratio and whether both men and women are gay. The most concerning to me is that men with Jake's finger ratio patterns are at a much higher risk of an early heart attack. (!)
