Snack Conversation

Clearly we've been listening to a bit too much of the local public radio station (slogan: "talk about issues that matter to you") as evidenced by Nora's conversation opener today:

Nora: Mommy, what are the issues that matter to you?

Me: ...Wha? Uh, I guess the biggest issue that matters to me is that you and Milo grow up happy and healthy.

Nora: I have an issue that matters to me.

Me: Oh, what is the issue that matters to you?

Nora: When we get hurt.

Me: Yeah, I can see how that would matter.
