The kids had a busy and exciting birthday. I think they had a great time.
It rained all day and was about 45 degrees today! What a contrast to 4 years ago, when it was bitterly cold (single digits?) and there was a foot of snow on the ground. I'll take this weather any day. I know we have our cold and snow coming, and it's fun to have big snowstorms, but this is really nice.
I know the holidays are busy for everybody. I feel like they really kick my butt now because I've got the kids' birthday, Christmas, and the end of semester (finals and tons of grading) all happening at the same time every year. Phew! Like I said...beat.
