Could things get any fucking worse? I keep saying "unbelievable" but each new thing that happens makes you realize that it's all believable, because it's all happening. Walker just published the union-busting bill into law in open defiance of a court order. Moreover, Fitzgerald (senate majority leader) ordered the Legislative Reference Bureau, a specifically non-partisan arm of the government (similar to the one Jake works for), to publish it, an openly partisan act. This has never happened before. The law means nothing anymore in WI. Democracy means nothing anymore.

One interesting side effect of all of this: I no longer give a shit about getting tenure.
